Goose Hunting Tips, Calling Tips
goose hunting tips Hold call on very end of hand piece, between thumb and forefinger.
goose hunting tips Wrap thumb and forefinger around end of call. Do not cover any part of the exhaust.
goose hunting tips Bring fingers down to make loose fist, raise middle finger to let sound escape. Middle finger can be raised and lowered to change pitch.
goose hunting tips Off hand shaped as if to hold water. Hand position for the middle goose sound. This is the position I blow the call most of the time.
goose hunting tips Bring hand to front for a deeper goose sound.
goose hunting tips Open both hands to create a megaphone. This is used when hailing and loud calling
These are only suggestions you may find a variation of this method works better for you. By changing either hand you can change both volume and pitch to make a wide range of realistic goose sounds.
