The Spring migration hosts hundreds of thousands of snow geese through the EXACT areas Big Guns has access too. These abundant and well educated geese offer sights, challenges, and experiences at a time of year when every hardcore waterfowler has nothing to do but look forward to the upcoming Fall. Peak migration is mid March through the first of April. Obscene numbers of birds and high bag limits combine for exciting decoy shooting you may never forget.

Although most hunt harvest numbers average in the teens and twenties, the chance for larger numbers is not unheard of. One hundred bird harvests can be achieved in the right conditions. The use of electronic calls, unplugged shotguns, and enormous decoy spreads can make this a truly unique experience, and a must for what most consider the "offseason."
