Great Season, Great Callers and More

Its been a long time since our last entry but things have been very busy. I would have to say overall the season was a great one for Big Guns Waterfowl Outfitters. In Washington we had some long days in the field but ended up with many productive hunts. Ducks and big honkers were on our properties for several weeks and we had some fast and furious shoots. We are looking forward to next year and after conversations with our farm partners we look to have alot of good crops to attract the migration again this season.

We are starting to book for Saskatchewan. This past season was one of the better ones I have seen for white birds and with a 20 bird per man limit on whitey it made for some great shoots. Great numbers of ducks and specks staged in our are too. If you are interested in a hunt of a lifetime give us a call and reserve your days right away.

We still have 3 blocks of days available for our spring snow goose hunts in South Dakota. Early reports show good numbers of snows, blues and ross geese starting thier push north. Contact us for available dates.

Bill Saunders Calls was very proud and excited this year at the World Goose Calling Contest where sales manager and pro staffer Eric Strand made it into the final round of the contest and placed 5th out of over 30 of the top callers in the country. Eric was using The Heavy goose call and judges praised his speed , power and finesse. Great job Eric!

This fall staffer Nate Lee along with partner Allan Kapp won the Torington goose hunting challenge. This is a big event that attracts hunters from around the country to compete for the most wieght in a given day of hunting. This goes to prove the calls are winners on the stage as well as in the field.

We will be releasing our newest call in the coming weeks THE ATOMIC G. This call was used by several of our staffers this fall and the unique sound and operation proved deadly on big honkers.
